Was watching the nedbank coverage yesterday and I must say South African commentators are class.
The guy said about a very fast chip on to a green.............

"You have got more chance of stopping a woman crying than you have of stopping the ball on the green"

The Mrs nearly fell off the settee. Needless to say i found it funny

Could you imagine Alis saying something like that

Was told by a very reliable source that all the commentators have a sweep stake when Gary Player comes into the booth.

How long it takes him to mention his poor upbringing. ANy time under 45 seconds normally gets the cash.

If your a rugby fan, the aussie commentators are better. They are like 2 guys down the pub. The commentary yesterday was good and very BBC open style. Good days viewing.

Im just sitting here watching it after i recorded the last round yesterday...
The commentary is funny
After Harrington was introduced he addressed his ball and a child started crying....He stepped off the ball for it to subside but instead heard the announcer saying "Quite Gary" to everyones amusement including Gary Players and Paddy's...

In contrast, anyone watching G-Mac vs Tiger? G-Mac driving on the 18th and the US coverage cut to commercial whilst the ball was still mid-flight....... how crap is that....?

Its also a great course to play and very cheap. I played it a couple of years ago. £50 incusive of buggie and half way house meal. Sun City is also great to visit.
