Good day with Richart yesterday...

Played in the 4BB Stableford at Cooden yesterday with Richart, part of their Open Week. We won the competition a couple of years ago and were looking to do well again, but sadly, despite playing well, our score wasn't good enough on the day (49 points won it!!....oo

Funny thing happened on the 7th hole (par 3) where I had missed the green right, Richart had hit a good shot but had come up about 5 yards short of the putting surface.
I played my first chip but cocked it up a bit, getting right under the ball with my 60 degree wedge (had to get it up quite high to clear a bunker).
I was still off the green chipping, and said to Richard "I'll just pop this one in for the 3 to give you a clear run at the 2"
I then proceeded to hit the most exquisite chip which duly dropped and Richard followed that up by canning his 30 foot putt from off the green for said birdie!
That's what you call "calling the shot!"

Looks like you 2 are going to have to get your title back soon 2012 is a long time ago now,you cant live on past glory's.
