Train to London, don’t know which main line station your train goes to then the rattler to South Kensington which is on the circle (yellow), Piccadilly (dark blue) and district (green). Enjoy the day out Guy

Keep an eye open for Richart - he's old enough to be an exhibit there alongside Anotherdouble 👍

Last time we went, we drove to Richmond & got on the tube there. It’s in the same line as South Kensington. It’s about £10 to park all day from memory but it was a Sunday. It was really easy 👍

This. Park in the Old Deer car park in Richmond, tube station is a 5 minute walk. And don't forget to visit the science museum as well (round the corner in Exhibition rd) personally I prefer that one to the NH museum

In my early to mid teens I would spend quite a bit of my school summer holidays in the London museums - mainly Science Museum and Nat Hist Mus, but then girls discovered me.

Could partially be why I look so wrecked now

Yep. Anywhere where you can easily get to where you can get the tube. Don't forget to take sandwiches and a drink.

Cheers all looks like drive to Richmond, is it worth getting oyster card or just pay as you go for trip from Richmond to South Kennington

Last time i went from stanmore to wembley. Just swiped me mastercard. But you cannot use ine card for two people 😳

If you are going on a Sunday you can park outside for free. Need to be there for 9:30 but I’ve never had a problem.

Free parking on Queens Gate.

Wouldn't bother, just use your contactless card, or buy a travel card at the first tube station you get to. i don't use an oyster and im in town 2-3 times a month,

Just back , kids loved it. To my surprise they enjoyed the history museum more than the science.

Best thing of the day was the kids faces when the dinosaurs moved and roared.
Worst thing was , as I was giving the ages of my kids over for train tickets, my 12 year old pipes up and shouts 'Dad you have got my age wrong I'm 12 not 10'' The ticket bloke looks at me and says, ' one free child and one paying then.' Had a quite word with my son afterwards 😂😂
