I gotta jump on that gravy train

Have provisionally booked Blackmoor for the 12th March. £45 bacon rolls, 18 holes, and ham egg and chips lunch. Tee off time 8.30-10.00. It was the only date Club could do in March at winter rates. April the cost would have gone up to £60. Hopefully there will be a bit of interest.

christ, and I thought Wentworth was expensive

If there is going to be a London event I'll organise it, if no one else wants too and there's enough interest in it.

Ash.

I have started a South/West Scotland thread in AAG section.

Venue to be discussed but I have proposed 14th/15th March as Patrick's North Scotland event will be held in April.

Oh and can we please call it the GM National Championship? :p

Should we not be looking to get the word 'World' into the title ? Give the Trilby Tour a run for their money.:)

Relatively new to the forum, so if no one else wants to do the North East, I'll do it, will start making enquiries this week.

Note the weekend meet 21/22 march for a NE/NW/yorks match.

Playing in that myself, concern with that is it may not suit everyone who wishes to enter from NE,
Could someone clarify, what area comes under "North East", I would of thought it's North from York to Scottish Border and inland from coast to penines, happy for anyone to set me straight.

As long as the venue is in the northeast... I've already got my name in for the south, and will play in the NE if the dates don't clash... even thinking of doing the Nairn one too.

Yep, doesn't matter where people are from, some even play in 2 or 3 and out of area.

Good luck.
