My project for the year....

I have 2 sheds in my back garden that are passed their sell by date and I have been looking at the prices of new ones. I hadn't even considered building my own till I saw your efforts James. Food for thought.

A decent 11x8 shed (made with ship-lap instead of naff feather board) retails about £800, the space I'm using is basically 3 of those so it would have come in around £2,400 to buy 3 separate sheds, and even those are not very tall (you practically have to stoop to get in the door). I'm hoping to come in about £1500, less than the price of 2.

what happened to original plans?

That's just an older pic that shows the new base but with the old sheds still in place.

I just spent 3hrs taking apart the final (metal) shed and lobbing it.

As of 2 minutes ago it all looks like this..... plenty still to do, crappy house/garden but that's all I have to work with :(

I think you are wasting your time trying to teach S&T, your true calling is Sheds;)

very Impressed by the way, what are you putting it?

Cheers  Don't know what's going in there, tools and maybe a 'sun room' for the Winter  ...somewhere dry to sit when it's raining. Would love to get a sneaky pool table in there, dart board is a must :D Will probably just be full of junk :(

Not a S&T lab then?

This looks really good. I hope when your done you'll add some lighting to finish it all off.

I had planned on converting my garage this year to a proper outdoor man cave with bar and pool table, (better than a brick shed full of junk which is what it is currently) but I don't think I can fund it unless I do the work my self. And I can't do the work my self :D

Just need to finish off the laminate in the morning, then skirting boards & door architrave....ready for the "goodies" to be moved in!!

Looking good guys

This was mine just after it was finished, and before my kids turned it into a store room for their junk!

Just wish I'd had the foresight to make the ceiling high enough to swing a golf club in.

Looking at your interests in your profile I'm guessing you'll like the upstairs of my 'cave' above the golf sim, will show you it when I see you. Doesn't totally qualify as I didn't build it, just stuck stuff in it. Still to be decorated, beer fridge is in the cupboard left of the wine rack I got them to build into the wall ......

p.s. Won't be giving you a game though - I'm utterly rubbish :)
