I don't get what you mean by this,
I don't buy expensive balls. I don't see the point on spending £40 on golf balls
When a £15 box of balls works just as well for me.

If I'm only paying just over a quid a ball I'm not going to be spewing all over if I lose one,

As I would if I was to pay say £3.50 per ball.
Ivenot being playing golf that long to get the benefit of expensive golf balls.
