my handicap just went up!!

Strange game today, started well, then started hitting drives off the heel, including one that went out of bounds. Happily I got over that, buit found so many bunkers, putted badly and ended up with a net 83 and a plus 0.1 so I have gone from 22.4 to 22.5 so playing handicap is back up to 23.

We all realise how competitive you are and how keen you are to get your handicap down, but, lighten up, you have to suffer 0.1 increases just like the rest of us. You'll be back.

never mind loo - we all have to take the 0.1's! just remember that a 0.1 is the only thing you are guaranteed unless you go out and shoot the lights out!

I dont really mind but I just find it a bit ironic, after all the cuts to suddenly go up. Every cloud has a silver lining though, means I get an extra shot in the semi final of the club challenge next tuesday, providing I dont get cut on Sunday.

I made the decision about two weeks ago to stop playing such boring golf and go for it on the last 4 holes at mine. It'll ruin my card more often than not, but I really could do with going up a shot.
