My first nine holes tonight.

Completely irrelevant to the majority on here, but just wanted to say I played my first ever nine holes tonight down my local municipal.

I absolutely loved it!!! Went around in 73 (even managed a bogey on a par 4) I know it's rubbish but it now gives me something to go at now.

My first lesson is booked in for next week and I can't wait. Just wanted to share.

I remember the first few times I played, me and my mate where using his set of Donnay clubs and just getting the ball to take flight a few times felt absolutely great... Now I get upset if I catch a shot out of the toe

Nice one. I can't remember my first 9 holes but I reckon it took me more than 73 shots to get round.........
