In the hole!!!!

Nice one...shame I can't seem to see those images. I hope there was someone around to see it?

I've only ever once chipped in from more than around 15 or 20 yards off the green, from very deep rough. No-one to see it though.

lol Yeah it was the first time trying in two weeks without having a ball over the trees and running down the ring road!!!

You should come up, the course is in great nick at the moment.

I haven't had a chip in for ages but find they are like buses. You get one and suddenly another one comes along soon after. HTL chipped in from a bunker yesterday and was considering it was a 2nd straight birdie was remarkably restrained in his celebrations.

Get in mate! always good to hear of some good Golf being played.

My two birds in a row were a bit special yesterday and I did manage to restrain myself, I had to otherwise I think Smiffy and Norman would have wrapped my wedge around my head.

How difficult is Roundhay? Reason I ask is that if it's not too bad and you dont mind, i'll bring my son for a knock.

I think HID is working wed & thur so those days are out for me, looks like friday it is bit i'll confirm tonight.

Well done fella!!

Where did you achieve this feat of greatness?

Roundhay's 1st, played a draw around the trees on the dogleg and left myself with a 30+ chip and dropped it, I think I was more in shock than excitment!!

That's not an easy little pitch there either, mate. We'll have to meet up for a game there soon. What condition is the course in?

Good, the greens need some water and each one is running a little different than the last but apart from that the course is in great nick. In fact its just had a make over by the council and have some need tees and walkways.

It will be fine for your son, loads of Jr's play there. friday is fine for me but will need to get the green light from HID's.

That's great news cos some of those tees were shockingly bad. Put me off playing there, TBH.
