My first Birdie

Well yesterday i got my first ever Birdie. It was on the par 5 9th at Aylesbury vale ( stewkley ) well happy, despite a couple of awful holes ( one 10 where i found deep rough and then the water and a couple of 9's)came vey close again to breaking that elusive 100 mark

That's one of the great things about this game. Every now and then we can do something as well as the best and we forget all the rubbish for a few seconds.

Nice going. See lots of people on here posting about "My first Eagle", or "My first Hole In One", but for some of us a Birdie is a rare thing. Can't remember the last time I had one, but I know I've had at least one or two in the last few years! Never on a par 5 though, as far as I can remember.

You'll break 100 easy soon, you're obviously capable of it.

Cheers its getting the consistant swing i have problems with, and i have a tendancy to lift my head when hitting the shot and end up topping the ball
