went to americangolf store today with a view to buy a set of irons and a driver didnt get the driver but after hitting a number of differnt sets of irons from burners, x-22's sling shots, bigreds and VR's i settled on these beautys i hit/felt i hit these clubs the best so went and got um

next step is to get a driver really want a nike dymo sq2 st8 fit but the store didnt have them in and only on website they have left handed >_<

anyway heres the irons

they are the nike victory red full cavity 4-PW and the SW is the Nike Golf SV Plus

and i have no handicap lol, i have played 2 rounds so far first i went round in 123 second i went round in 109 both at ellesmere port, both rounds where using my brothers 80quid full set!

wont use these untill thursday well i have just been out in the front garden with foam balls , hitting the PW and the SW onto the green for the kids to chase, thats as much as i will do untill thursday altho i felt i hit every foam ball perfectly haha

When you have to play that first shot from a stony lie you have my sympathy.

Scratched the beejesus out of my shiny new 8 iron when playing a ball lying on an stone drain which had overgrown with grass. Took a divot and regretted it . Had to remind myself that I had bought some shiny tools for hitting stuff and not ornaments

Really, really like them and will be a long time until I think of changing them. Well, at least until I have some wedge in my pocket again and the lure of the shiny begins......

The lure of the shiny is strong. Not a great time for me to have been given a credit card with 6month interest free credit on new purchases.

i took the kids to the park today with a few friends my mates GF watched the kids while me and her fella hit some balls on the open field, only took the PW and the SW, all i need to hit now is the 4,5,6,8 and 9 irons!!

we playd a little game of catch also good test of touch and control also massive test of friendship and trust lol, stood 20yds or so from each other and chipped/pitched the ball for the other to catch!!
