I bought a Cobra F6 driver from AG at Xmas and liked it so much I decided to buy a F6 hybrid as it was going to cost me next to nowt when trading in an old driver against it.

I was pretty hit and miss with the hybrid tbh, and got it into my head that i would be better with Ping Crossover. I got our pro to lend me one, played 9 holes, hit it like a dream, so ended up buying it, with the plan being to sell the hybrid.

However, as is the way with these things, the Crossover proved not to be the magic bullet, and after a few bad rounds with it, I went back to using the hybrid.

Ironically enough, I am now hitting the hybrid consistently well, and it is my go-to club on the fairway and our longer Par 3s. The Crossover is still in the bag, but is sitting there forlornly, never getting used.

The hybrid is adjustable, 4/5, and has a number of settings between 22 and 25 degrees. It's currently set at 22 degrees. The Crossover is a 4, 21 degrees.

So, my dliemma is - do I give up with the Crossover and sell it, or do I adjust the hybrid to a more lofted setting and persevere with both, risking my current good performance with the hybrid at 22 degrees? My irons start at a 5, but the lowest I tend to go is a 6 as I don't hit the 5 that well.

It's a funny one in that I don't think i have given the Crossover much of a chance, but I am reluctant to mess with the F6 hybrid given how well it is going.

Thoughts please!

You could keep both, when the hybrid starts to misbehave ( about a week after you sell the Crossover) then you can put the crossover back in the bag, until that goes naughty again
