So my grandson turns up with this homework question !
"There are only 8 two-digit numbers with 5 ones. Is that right?"
Stumped me!!
It is basic , too basic I guess 😅Why can’t kids just be taught basic maths, and only progress onto complicated stuff once they’ve mastered said basics?
bit easy that, could only be an even number less than 20
You may be correct but its not the answer
It's MATHS or MATHEMATICS, never Math.![]()
Please elucidate
There is only one positive integer which is exactly twice the sum of its digits. Find this two digit number.
Please elucidate
It wasn’t even good, basic EnglishIt is basic , too basic I guess 😅

Oof
No there are 9
Are there; or are there 17?
Assuming that the question should be "5 once" rather than "5 ones" I agree with you that it's 17....
15, 25, 35, 45, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 65, 75, 85, 95.
As pointed out a while backThe correct answer is 'no it is wrong'.
