had 3 so far, one playing lesson so the pro could see where my game is at from last time, and then two normal lessons working on some swing changes. So far so good everything has worked as it should and i have seen an improvement. Need to book another lesson soon to see if any other changes need to be made.

1video lesson - given me some homework on keeping the back straight and spine angle consistent. Not taken it onto the course yet. Chipping lesson booked, then a playing lesson to follow.

Originally voted 8-10 (6 with my regular pro & 2 with Alex from ORKA during the fitting sessions, but then remembered the trip to Morroco arranged by our Pro in Feb where we had a 2 hour lesson each day as well as on course tuition. That would have been another 8, so correct answer should have been > 10...couldn't edit my poll answer.

4 at the moment with one booked for next week everything as started coming together hope it continues tomorrow at clitheroe.

A couple of lessons taken in desperation with the local man.
Still searching for a local teaching pro as good as the one I first learned the game with. He's now based a bit too far in travel time to visit, even irregularly.

A quick session on the video to see how the changes from last year were taking effect and to slip a new, minor, change in as well.

I don't think any amount of lessons will stop me making a 9 down the 18th at my course... that's 3 times now... well actually it reads 10,8,9 in my last 3 rounds - pesky eagles!!!! (gotta stop chasing them one day).

I've had 4 lessons this year. My view is that if I want to get significantly better and relatively quickly then I have to make some real and meaningful changes to the way I swing the club - which I've done, just need to keep trying to practice the right things in order to make it feel more natural - and then practice my short game like crazy, which I've also started to do.

I think I'll take a bunker lesson and a putting lesson over the next month, and then depending on where my long game is at towards the end of July, I might have another.

What I have found particularly useful is having a short game lesson. Having an idea of how to execute a variety of different types of shot around the green has made it possible to have some really enjoyable and varied practice sessions.

I'm very envious of those that have got to such a good standard without taking lessons - I'm a reasonable sportsman, I played cricket to a decent standard, but golf really had me a bit flummoxed from around this time last year through until April of this year - without lessons I am in no doubt that I wouldn't have made any progress. I was very sceptical before I went to my pro, but he's really sorted my game out.
