Started the year on 25.3 got down to 19.8 but have crept up to 20.4. Managed to play my H/c in the last few medal rounds just waiting for 'the round' to get cut.

Radical reworking required mid season to eradicate the S****S, have stayed all season so not complaining too much, after much hard work starting to play better, bring on next season.

Started 11.6 finished 11.6

Started on 11.6 now on 9.4, still a bit of time for a little more to be shaved off (weather permitting). What I'm most happy with is my connsistency, I've only shot higher than the buffer zone 6 times in 21 comps and 3 of those were only by 1 shot.

Oct 2010 .....9.4 :(
nov 2010 .....6.6 :) helped by a 1 over gross qualifier....
Oct 2011 .....8.4 :( major swing change
dec 2012 .....5.4?????????? :D

Started at 11.6 and now 12.6 It got as hight as 13.5 but a win got that back down again. Given the short game misfortunes it tells me (or at least I believe) that perhaps tee to green I don't hit it as badly as I think and can make scores. Its always that one killer hole especially in medal that I need to work on eradicating

Started at 11.6 and now 12.7 everything was going ok until I got a new driver ping K15 totally lost my swing
nothing wrong with the G 10 i had anyway 3 drivers later and back on course so roll on next season!!!!

I've not managed to play as many qualifiers as planned this season due to injury and having changed clubs too, so all in all I'm relatively pleased with my little drop from 20.9 to 19.7. Was hoping to get down to 19 by the end of the season but that's not going to happen now. I seem to have found some form too late for the second year running! Absoutlely cannot wait for the start of the next season - determined to get down to mid teens but we'll see how the winter goes first!!!!

Started on 11.3 (having not played at all last year due to illness). Now at 11.9 which is not too bad in the circumstances but threw away a couple of good chances to get .1 or .2 knocked off.

Started the season on 15.9 and had a frustrating year with changes to my swing and grip which saw that greep up to 17.5....Also popped a Ping i15 driver in the bag and have gotten really comfortable with it over the past few months....

What had my handicap increase was destructive tee shots caused by the changes....I have that sorted now and after a string of finishes in the buffer zone i dropped 1.8 shots back to 15.7.....So happy out at the moment and im not sure what the winter holds...

Can your handicap drop in winter conditions?

Started the season without a handicap due to several years away from the game. Midway through the season I was at 11.5, then the News of the World folded, meaning that those of us working for "other" papers had to work almost every weekend to pick up the readers, so finished the season on 11.5. If I could get dropped for social rounds played on my own I would be a lot lower, but I can't.

Started at 5.7
First few months went down to 2.9 (seriously trying to reach 2 or 1)
Changed clubs, putter and swing
0.1 every week, now at 4.3

Lot to work on over winter

Started at 12.7

Got down to 11.6. A missed six foot birdie on the last stopped me getting to 11.

The last 2 medals show i should worry about going back up to 13 :D

sitting at 11.8

Since July 09 when i got to 9.2 i've went up 0.1 am now sitting at 11.9 so 27 straight 0.1's .Thank god i work shifts or would have been of 16 by now.

I've had lessons and nothing seems to work,i've even thought about giving the game up as its no fun going up o.1 every time i play.

Come on mate, the game wouldn't be the same without "gorgeous Steve" struting the fairways. Who else uses a porn star leather golf bag and wafts of Armani on the course? Steve must keep plugging away!

Started on 3.6, played like a divot with a card in my hand most of the year. New job, spending all week away, crept up ot 4.6!!!

Found a swing and a couple of really good knocks and I'm back to square 1, on 3.6. One more comp to go for the year on Saturday, can I squeeze in to 3??!!
