4.1 at the start 3.0 now. Did get to 2.8 and think I'll be able to keep going next year. Could be interesting to see how the H/C fairs over the winter months, hopefully I won't undo too much work.

Joined a new club this year and it has proved that I need to get out and play/practice more often. Out of 10 qualifying rounds I have played to my handicap once

started at 16.2 i think, now 13.2 so 0.3 down. did get to 12.9 but a couple of 0.1's back. Aim was 12 for teh year, wanted to get to cat 2. didnt happen.

Wandered aboutthe same all year but currently sit having taken a mighty 0.3 off. I did embark on some pretty major swing changes from about may so it's not all bad.

Started at 8.3
Went up to 8.8
Plumetted to 4.8
Just 2 more comps before Winter so I'll off 5 at worst till Spring at least.
So much for consolidating the 8 handicap achieved last year....

All round bad year for me.
It's been incredibly frustrating with many rounds finishing within the buffer zone. I've not been cut at all this year and have gone up 0.6.
My play has been either: good but scoring badly, or, bad and scoring OK.

This weekend I hit 12 greens in regulation and finished up with an 85. Thanks to an 8, a 7 and two 6's.
The previous week was similar but featured a 7 and three consecutive 6's.
Not like me at all and very frustrating.

Started at 11.4, got to 9.9 but steadily climbed back to 10.4. The target was to get to single figures so I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't manage it.

Started the year on 24.0 now on 19.8 so really pleased with that.:)

First year of competitions so it was a real learning experience and I can't wait for next season already.

Came 3rd last week (nett +1 compared to H/C) in the 'medal winners only' comp and with only 1 person in the field below par (poor conditions) I may get a small bonus cut once the cards have been scrutinised.
