Wasnt it Moe who, when playing the 18th on a new course, asked teh local pro how he played, it and got the reply "its a driver and 8 iron"
So Moe took 8 iron off the tee, driver off the fairway and tapped in the birdie putt
Possibly an urban myth, but everything about Moe i've ever read tells me that he is the origina golf punk - do what comes naturally and what suits you, not what everyone else does.
PS i think the Canadian tour was quite strong at the time he was playing
