I saw someone had dumped like 25 spam topics on the first page yesterday, so I started to report them but when I did the second one I got that error that says "you must wait 20 seconds before performing this action". So I gave up at one. Why is that a thing? Daft.

I replied to one of them @'ing a few people as well as reporting one, and in fairness they were gone quickly after that. They were up for longer than I thought they'd be though.

Mods aren't on here 24 hours a day. It's the background settings that need altering. It was rare any spam got through on the forum I used to help Mod.

We don't live on here and we also need sleep . Yesterday was exceptional. Obvious to see and clear but we may not be on the site for periods of the day and on a day like yesterday it has more of an impact.
