Changed provider at the weekend, given a new phone & SIM card, left them the PAC to change the temporary number back to the old one. They changed it over on Tuesday. However, although when phone home it shows my old (changed) number, some people are getting the new (temporary) number come up; anyone explain to a tech numpty? If it matters, I was with Vermin, switched to O2 but the one currently getting the temporary number is on EE.

If it's iPhone-

Go to settings, then Phone. There will be a bit that says 'my number' or something like that. You need to type in your new number.

It is, thanks, now done that and it appears to have fixed it :thup: now just fascinated as to why it showed one number to some and the other number to others.
