I've decided that all this bad weather is due to southerners moaning about their hose pipe bans. You couldn't make do with watering cans and now we're all suffering probably due to some cockney spiritualist doing a rain dance. I had to suffer with only 10 holes including 5 winter/ replacement greens which is a lot worse than not being able to water your pansies

And here's me sploshing about in Devon thinking all this moisture was due to the tears of NE footy fans realizing that Champions League football was indeed a false dawn. Chin up lad ;-)

Fortunately I'm one of those supporters who appreciates what their LOCAL team have donethis season no matter how it ends. That and neither the Mackems nor smoggies can argue over whose is the nest NE team

i like rain at the weekend as i can choose to stop in doors during the week im getting soaked and got no choice in the matter. So rain all you like on a weekend also its the only time i can stop a ball on the green haha

Just had a weekend at Luton Hoo. Played a game in constant heavy rain for 18 holes. There was Soft, Southern, Ballet dancers walking off right left and centre. If they can't play in rain they should take up tennis :angry:
