Mizuno Mx-200 Irons... Recommended?

I've just got back from a fitting session with Mizuno for a set of Mx200's, Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them, and what they think? I play off 20, and despite having a good drive, and fairly solid short game I've always struggled with my irons. Hopefully i can transfer my good feeling about them and drop some good scores.

Im just about to buy some mx-23 the predecessor allegelldy to the 200s.

Now they reckon the mx200s have a slightly larger sweet spot than the 25s. However the guy in the pro shops is well hacked off with the mizuno dude as he says there is very little to no difference in the clubs.

I pick up my Mx-25s on Thursday cant wait as they are soo nice to hit a forgiving as well as nice weight and looks nice tooo :p
 
I suppose different irons will suit different players. I tried several sets, including MX200s, and found that Ping G10s were far and away my favourites. Much more forgiving and consistent than any of the others I tried.

You are mistaking the 200's I think!

The MX-200 are the forged club and absolutely beautiful. I have owned mine for a few weeks now, after being fitted, and I adore them.

They may not be for everyone but they certainly work for me.
 
iv been looking at the mizuno irons the 200's look good but are a bit too pricey for me. i am looking at the mx-19 which is more my price range

your right, I meant 25s which are forged DOH!
 
I ordered a set of custom-fitted MX200's last week, but haven't received them yet so can't comment on how they are on the course.

Can't wait until they arrive though...... :cool:
 
Hey guys, thanks for getting back to me so quickly, Good to hear that pretty much everyone is positive about them, So i bought them. Paid only £329.99 (3-Pw) so absolutely delighted. within 2 weeks i shall have them, 1/4 inch shorter shafted. :D. Woohoo. cant wait
