I'm thinking about upgrading my waterproofs from the Stuburt Helium and was wondering if anyone has experienced the Mizzy ImpermaLite waterproof gear at all? If so what is it like and worth spending the money on?

If not can anyone recommend any others within the £100 range for a full suit.

Cheers

mate bought mizuno wet gear and the pocket came away after a month. clear design fault. its got a 5 year warranty but its looks like many trips back to the store if they dont rectify this problem.

i recently bought the impermalite trousers as a back up to my GG performance shell trousers (my course is boggy) . the mizzys are to the touch feel light and wear light they done the job. infact i had my doubts that they would keep me warm like my thicker GG set. but they kept me warm and dry . it wasnt a real windy day or heavy down pour but i was impressed. and at only 40 squid a bargain.
i like the look of the new range out jackets 80 squid good price and i will probably by one as a back up to the GG jacket,
read thecraws review about adidas jacket aswell

Thanks bigslice. I have read Craw's review and does look good but can't find it for anywhere near that price, only the windtops and not the storm waterproof unfortunately.

I also have the Impermalite Geo Jacket and had the same problem of the pocket coming away after a year, they changed it without a quibble last month. Interesting you had the same, but I love playing in it even when it is not raining. Bought the ordinary Impermalite trousers as the only ones with length adjustment. Very happy with both.

I have the 2011 Impermalite jacket (as pictured below) and its a fantastic piece of kit. Very light with a fantastic fit and feel, very warm and not restrictive in the slightest. The sleeves zip off which is useful in Spring/Autumn. They can be a bit on the small side, so be aware when ordering online.

I would definately recommend..

i got he mizzy imperlites and i love them. Never had issues regards not being waterproof and plenty warm enough on a windy day although i do wear under armour. I also love the way the sleeves are detachable if its warm and drizzling (not that i had them to wear in summer yet) I also like how the trousers have a few poppers on so you can also shorten them by half inch to an inch if you are vertically challenged in the leg.
I think i paid about 150 for the coat and trousers before xmas now wish i waited but you can never tell when prices are going to drop. I ordered mine from direct golf and had them in a couple days.

All in all the coat isnt restricting at all whilst swinging and very comfy to wear. Any more questions feel free to ask

I have used them for around four years and they are very good. Totally waterproof and keep out the wind.

Would buy them again.

My bag is made of the stuff!

Excellent fabric and fully waterproof. Can't speak as to clothing but I got caught in a small typhoon weekend before last and, I'm happy to say, everything in the bag was bone dry..... Even my rule book.

:whoo:lol

that could be there new tag line.
buy mizuno to keep everything dry EVEN YOUR RULE BOOK!!

dunno why but i was was amused when you wrote that

Funny thing is Connor every bag I've had previously, any hint of rain and you can guarantee the inside of the pocket would look like a 5 year olds attempt at papier mache!!

Little things like that keep me sane

i hope mizuno bring this bag out in more colours, theres nothing wrong with the black blue but perhaps more colours. i suspect they are testing the water (do not excuse the pun)

I have the Impermalite jacket and it's quality - completely waterproof, light, doesn't impede a swing either.
I also have the Windlite Fleece - super warm, super windproof too.
