Bit nervous about this as i played my worst round of golf ever today. Range this evening looked better but still why does my game have to fall apart the day before a fitting.

Anyone experienced the new DNA Mizuno fitting or had a bad swing appear for the fitting?

Had the DNA nearly a year ago now - fantastic kit.
Don't worry about your swing, just be natural. The fitter will know that you're nervous and he's seen every bad swing in the book.
Enjoy

Yep, relax, they will not take your first 3 swings that will take the best 3.

Be early, warm up and relax and enjoy it. You are a customer.

Edit, By the way, what you looking to hit?

Had the full fitting at the Wrexham fitting center with DNA and trackman. Could have stayed on the trackman all day good bit of kit. The DNA was great, used it before the Trackman to get the shaft right, gave me 4 options and the best was Nippon 850 PRO stiff. Then the trackman for the clubs selection, ended up with the JPX800 PRO, just over the MP53, lost 6 yrds with the MP53's. Great set of clubs and fitting experience.
I was allowed time to loosen up in the bay with a load of balls before the fitting which allows you time to calm down and not try to knock the spots off every ball.

Also used the Wrexham fitting center, Was a great experience.

The bonus is because you are not having to pay anything upfront and the fitters are only there to fit and not sell, there is no pressure to buy.

They just recommend what suits you for that particular day.

Well fitting today went well. I wasn't swinging to great. Having played only three times since September last year i am struggling to control and out to in swing path. Any goods tips you may have come across are welcome. Ended up with the awesome looking JPX 800. With a stiff shaft which i thought odd as i play off 28 and only hit my driver around the 190-220yds. However, i hit a high ball and these shafts and heads pulled it down a bit. For example 6-iron launch angle was 28 with old big bertha 2008's, 22 with JPX 800's and the fitter said i should be aiming for 19. Wing speed a steady 80mph. can't wait for them to turn up so i can get down the range and try and groove a better swing plain. Maybe some lessons before i join a new club in April.
