I was told that we had around 7 full time greenkeepers the other day and we pull in regular part-timers on top of that when needed.

Well I've been around our course loads of times on different days at different times and hardly ever see them.

You'd think they'd be easy to spot, you see the odd one on a cutter but that's about it.

The work is getting done because its so noticeable.

Are they like the Borrowers!

How many do you have and do you see them out there!

We only have the two and there pretty visible

We have loads, always several at work when I go out on the course.

I dont very often play during the week so I dont see them. On weekends one or two are out before play to do the bunkers and swish/mow the greens but I am still in bed then.

We have 7 or 8 and they are usually hard at work on the course, and the condition of the course reflects their hard work.

I know at our track the greenkeepers are out at first light.

I know because I normally see them leaving at around 8.30am as I arrive to warm up.

If additional work is needed (...As it is lately with drainage work and deepening bunkers) then you'll often see them about on certain holes.
