5 under handicap on the 16th on Saturday, found myself behind a tree. Hit my shot knowing there was a chance i would hit the tree, and in pulling out to avoid contact I felt a pain in my left hand.Got it on the fairway, but couldn't pull the club back and had to abandon.
4 hours in casualty (bloody tourists!) and I find I have jarred an extendor tendon in my 3rd metacarpal.
Anybody had a similar injury? Healing times? Prognosis?
