When he's on he is the best player on the planet.

Think if Diaby had made the right decision it would be a different story now.

Yep, brilliant player. Scored 4, tore us apart. But. Cheating t..... too. Spent the first 10 minutes on his kness, or rolling about. Why do brilliant players (rooney, gerrard, owen, torres) have to do this?

Why was Denilson booked? Because he had the audacity to challenge Messi, and the crowd didn't like it.

Yes Barca were the better team (would have liked to see the full Arse team out tonight, but I think I last saw them 3 years ago, nothing but injuries since), but over all, Spanish teams (and Italian ones too) dive and cheat like mad. I get fed up with it, especially when they are good enough not to need to. Got fed up with watching them throw the ball away, chop down players on the break (the chop on Walcott was blatant) and yet no yellow.

Hope they get well and truly clogged by Morinhos Milan. Battle of the divers that one. What are the odds on a photo of the pitch with 22 players on their backs?

Priceless Murph....pot and kettle are the words that come to mind. :D

Totally outclassed,it could and should have been ten goals over the 2 legs for the Spaniards.

Looking like another trophyless season for footballs most overrated gaffer.

The little fella is the best in the world. Would love to have him, Xavi and Iniesta down at the Bridge alongside Lamps, Anelka and Drogba - might be quite entertaining!

Its the sum of the parts and the fooballing ethos at Barca. Deco, Ronaldinho and Eto were all part of an equally brillaint Barca team 4 years ago but put them in other teams like Chelsea, Milan and Inter they're not so special anymore, they're still good but not like they were at Barca. It's a team system that they seem to coach at Barca better than anywhere else akin to the great Brazilian flair teams of the 70's and 80's that make non-football people suddenly like to watch football.

they have a fantastic work ethic but have to agree with Murph that some of the "falls" were a disgrace. Not just Barca guilty though.
Until the t***s at fifa bring in some sort of punishment for diving, feigning injury, shirt pulling etc.. it will go on

Won't get cured as Fifa are too scared to punish players in case a ref is forced to send a top star off and "diminish the spectacle" as Platini described it. Refs will continue to be conned and inevitably a world cup will be decided by a dive or simulation

He is the best around at the moment by a long way but I think playing for the team he does makes it a bit easier for him. I suspect The Special One might have a plan on how to deal with him!!

Aye, he's called Materatssi! Sorted Zidane, sure he can get at Messi too.

Seriously though Barca look a class above any of the other 3 semi-finalists. Inter will be an intersting tie though.

Definitely agree that some players will be targeted in the Barca team against Inter, Jose is a master at getting under people's skin and I dare say he will be at it in this tie. I think the amount of cheating and diving will be horrific though over the 2 legs
