Mens Alternate Day competitions

I know that these are allowed for Ladies competitions but there seems little info regarding use of alternate days for men's competitions.

Do such competitions exist and are there are special "rules" that apply?

Yes they do but not very common, usualy because the club does not have enough tee times to meet demand from members or there is a need to meet members needs where they can not play at the weekend. They all have to be able to play the same course. Not sure if there are any Special rules as such.

Only rule I know is separate CSS calculation for each day.
