Thought i'd have a punt on McIlroy this week and he was doing well -3 after 12,only to blow up and drop 5 shots 13 onwards
same old thing with the bloke he's game slides on course and he's got no B game to bring it back.
It is a pretty severe back 9 is it not? Justin Rose shot a 40 back nine,Robert rock finished 7,7, Gmac had a 39 inner 9. There are plenty finding the run home tough, and cold.Sounds similar story to lasts years PGA,
There does seem to be no desire to fight for a score at times, when he's hot there's not stopping him but finding a ugly fighting score seems to evade him.
At the Pro-Am yesterday Rory drove off at the 3rd and definitely "felt" his back and had a couple of stretches.....
Maybe nothing but if there's a nagging tweak in his back it could answer some questions.
Or he's setting up an excuse when he knows his game isn't good?
Clubs, back problem, split up with girlfriend he's got them all in place just if he needs them. When Rory's hot he's unbeatable but when things start to go wrong for him on course he goes like stroppy teenager who just cant be bothered.......he should learn from Tiger who's B game wins him tourneys.Or he's setting up an excuse when he knows his game isn't good?
his game looks great his just putting like a tard
All these guys need a B game when their games not 100% all the time,Tiger plays the B game so well thats why he's been so successful, basically he just gets on with it and stays focused, thats what Rory needs to learn if he's going to be dominant again.Yeah, not good.
Although, if I was him, whenever I played badly, I'd go home and look at my two major trophies that I've already won at 22 years of age!
He probably doesn't care that he hasn't got a 'b' game because he doesn't need one.
