McIlroy out!

As previously mentioned I have had the same injury as Rory. I had a "modified" Bostrum repair on said ankle and my life was crap for three months. It was however the best thing I have had done. that was until Friday morning. I had rushed back from staying overnight near Woburn to pick up ma and pa to take them to Tewksbury til Sunday.
I was coming down the stairs and stepped off the bottom step and snap. My left ankle buckled and I have never felt pain like it in my life, until you get a massive adrenaline rush after about a minute the pain is indescribable.
I thought I had snapped my ankle again. The emotions I went through in five mins well. Anyway. Suffice to say I could not drive down to Tewksbury. That was left to my beloved. For the first 30 miles I wanted to go to hospital but kept me cake hole shut. An ice pack and analgesia helped.
strange thing is that yes it is swollen but goes down in bed. The pain has now gone, unless I catch it. But it is a weak as a kitten.
i was planning on carrying a bag from this week that's now put back a month or two. Don't be surprised if Rory has the odd set back.

My lady did the same and broke bones in both ankles. Like you she did not realise but 3 days later in A&E they said 3 months in bed. Be careful to get it checked.

The pain and the feeling was completely differant to what I was doing when I kept
" wapping over " on my ankle before I had it operated on.
i will keep an eye on it for a week or so and see how it goes because at the moment the pain is 1/10. fingers crossed.
