While Lee Westwood was winning a Mickey Mouse event in Asia (Joke Phil, joke :D) young Matt Fitzpatrick was doing his reputation no harm at all at Harbour Town finishing in a Tie for 23rd and more impressively, not dropping a single shot over the weekend, I believe the only player in the field not to do so. He parred all 18 holes on Sunday.

It was good to see Donald back up there in contention as well, he may not have won but he too is looking somewhere near back to his best.

Agreed on this. I only dipped into the sky coverage, but they didn't seem to mention him as much as they might have done. I only noticed him right up the leaderboard when I was skimming the pgatour website. A fantastic achievement all things considered, as it's a golf course you have to really plot your way round.

Shame about Luke. On a slight tangent, I think that Kuchar has given one of our non-major winning friends a blueprint on how to stumble over a finish line - 3 putt from four feet to chuck another win away on the 17th and then accidentally pitch in from a bunker when you've mentally given up on the win...

Great to see young Mr Fitzpatrick competing well on the PGA tour and hope he can continue this and learn the ropes well. Nice that he's doing things his way and developing his talent accordingly. Not knocking the college system but it won't be for everyone - tough but honest decision from him to turn his back on that route.

Really want to see Luke D get back to the summit of golf again. He's great for European golf and seems like a damned nice chap to boot. Impressed with the swing development; smooth, compact and hugely efficient. Bodes well so far but want to see a killer instinct under pressure and land a big one that his talent warrants...

Good to see Donald playing well again. He must be due a win at Harbour Town soon after so many near misses. Matthew Fitzpatrick doesn't look old enough to shave but definitely a mature head on those young shoulders and a very exciting prospect for the future

It was 'stolen' from Donald by a fabulous round by Kuchar - albeit with a 'fluke' on the last.

Indeed, great to see Fitzpatrick doing well too. Back to his 'usual' (sandaled) caddy?

Kuchar did put in a great knock on Sunday. That 3-putt on 17 was a shocker and nearly wiped the perma-smile off his face but he got it back with a bit of luck on 18.

Very unpatriotic I was routing for Kuchar and delighted he won. Glad he won after the last 3 tournament disasters where he collapsed. Love Kuchar has a fantastic demeanour, never beats himself up and conducts himself very well.
Great reaction 2 weeks ago, last round on final hole he dumps the ball in the water to allow playoff. Camera pans to Kuchar and all you hear is "golly Matty". No swearing. Absolutely love his attitude.

On Donald pleased to see him play well and get a good finish.

Lovely play for Fitzpatrick - certainly has the game and attitude to be a very good pro

Really great to see Donald swinging well again - one poor tee shot prob cost him but as with Westwood it bodes well for the Ryder Cup

Was happy to see Kuchar win - one of the likeable septics and was a great bunker shot

A fluke?! May be for you or me but for a professional they are looking at holing these shots, especially from a bunker.
