Matchplay Championship

Just had an email directing me to http://www.matchplaychampionship.co.uk/

Never heard of it before but sounds fun, and wouldn't mind having a crack at the singles competition.

Any else entered this ?

Its a slog. They have a ridiculous amount of time between rounds and play it throughout the winter and where I'm based its all parkland courses that tend to be winter tee's/greens from October to March (And possibly lots of snow!). I guess if you're a member of a links course its not so bad. I played in it and the Volvo last year and although I'm biased (as I got to the final of the Volvo), the spacings between the rounds and the fact that you got the full draw up front made the Volvo a much better comp for me (despite the 6.5 hr final round at the Scottish qualifier).
