Watching M.O.T.D last night has me in no doubt we have the most exciting league in the world.
Not the best teams or most technical players, but for pure excitment.
A couple of players this season have really took my eye.
Theo Walcott[who ive always thought would make a good striker] really has turned a corner.
6 months ago many Arsenal supporters have wanted him to be sold, not now.
The reason i thought he would make a good striker, was because imo he was a poor winger.
Yes hes got speed to burn but his final ball was not always the best.
Last night playing up front he produced a superb cross for a goal.
Also Gareth Bale, two years ago he coudnt get a start and a stat was when he played Spurs lost, now
when he plays then generally win.
I think along with RVP hes the best in the premiership.
Today Spurs have put a price tag of 60 million,ok a lot of money, but theres always some club
willing to pay what it takes to get the best.
Anyone impressing you? and your thoughts on the 2 above.
:)

Got a lot of time for Theo Walcott but don't believe he'll ever become what he wants to be... A second Thierry Henry... Not fussed wether TW goes as I believe in Oxlade-Chamberlain Arsenal do have a player that could, one day, become a second Henry...

Selling RVP was totally wrong... Tells the whole world Arsenal no longer have any ambition to win the championship...

I think he will leave to be honest. Not that impressed how he has treated the club as they took a massive risk on him when he was signed. I think he can perform well as a striker against certain teams. Put him up top against a defence like Stokes and I think he would struggle big time.

But I completely agree with your points on the league overall. So many exciting games lately and on their day, anyone can beat anyone. Love it.

Also couldn't help but notice how out of his depth Naismith looked today against Chelsea.

It was a spectacle... After Utd's 4-3 escape against Newcastle the other day I would pay to watch Newcastle's open style of play any day (and yes I would be saying this if utd had come out on the wrong side of the game as well).
I have respect for players like Giggs, Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard who have been loyal to their clubs. As an avid follower of Utd I believe that consistency and strong senior players (and management) have contributed to their success. I saddened me to think that Lampard will be sold, especially after the way fans hailed him today and also for what he has done for the club.
With everything in mind, Berg being sacked, player loyalty, Ba leaving Newcastle, Lampard issue..... I just hope the agents, foreign buyers if clubs realise that they are spoiling our league and clubs need better stability and consistency in personnel if they are to be part of the best league in Europe.

I've always rated Walcott, right from when Wenger bought him from Southampton. He's such an exciting player to watch, especially when played in his right position - striker not a winger.

Even when he did play as a winger he often put some decent crosses in. I lost count of the number of assists he provided for Robin Van Persie. The number of goals Walcott has scored recently, speaks volumes about the position he should be playing in. I think he will prove a lot of people wrong and go on to be a top top player!

Another player that has got my attention is Podolski for Arsenal. He's already scored a number of goals and his work rate and fitness is phenomenal. As most German players are. A great signing for Arsenal and will get the goals that Nicholas Bendtner never did.

Gareth Bale, well, I wish he was English, what great player he is and one who can play anywhere on the front line.

Another one for me is Tom Cleverly of Man Utd, he shows a lot of promise and starting to get a few goals now.

I'm pleased for Wenger, the man is and always will be a genius in my book. Great to see the team winning again, still conceding way way too many for my liking but hopefully he will sort that out. Cant rely on scoring 4 or more goals to win matches - aint gonna happen.

Being an Arsenal fan I feel that Wenger has started to turn the club back around and will hopefully start winning things again.
Walcott will be a superb striker although I can see him being rotated with his position on the wing.
Wenger has secured the signatures of a great set of British lads who will stay together and hopefully get the winning mentality.
It looks like Zaha will be on his way from crystal palace according to 1 of their players on twitter who has said to him good luck at AFC

Going for great players this year
Bent eke at AV looks good
Cazorla is a great buy
Bale is good but his diving reputation does him no favours
Sterling will be an England regular in a few years
The Chelsea trio of Mata Hazard and Oscar look dangerous
