I won some this year. 4 practice round tickets for the Wednesday. Now to work out if I can afford the flights and hotel. Definitely have to at least try and go.

This is a great package Glyn if they've got any places left, its via the pro at the range I use . I know a couple of local lads who've been and it's the trip of a lifetime apparently.

I'll second that. Though I have not been personally the lads all rave about it.

Get on and get going :thup: Its the par 3 comp that day as well so what a bonus that would be.

Totally agree mate.

I'm fortunate in that I will be able to afford it, it's just finding people to go with who can also afford it.

It's one of those things though, in that you enter and just presume you won't be picked!

This year I stayed at The Comfort Suites, 2911 Riverwest Drive in Augusta. Just off the highway if diving in Atlanta...only 10 mins to the course. Shuttles were running for "package guests" but if you drive into town locals turn front gardens into parting lots!

Its a bit Premier Inn, but it'll do....goodness knows how soon they book up...makes of mine stayed further out and drove in, but its a long day.

But go... it'll be the best golf thing you ever do, (watching wise) I'm still in awe 2 months later!
