Due to his post last month about getting Sky subscriptions reduced by giving them a call - which I did and got my subscription reduced by 50% for the next 6 months.

The real reason for this thread though is because I made the call, it prompted me to find out that Sky had been charging me for multi-room which I haven't had for nearly 2 years. cue me sending a disapproving letter to their Customer Services and a week or so later, I get a phone call from Sky telling me that there was a problem and they will be refunding £150 to my account within the next few days. :D

So, cheers Bob! I'll buy you a beer when our paths cross!

(And before anyone asks, the V-Easy order is on the list. Just haven't got round to it yet).

It's on my to do list for this weekend (plus mowing the lawn, fixing the shower, cleaning the patio stones, going to the dump and to the supermarket). Still there are two rounds of golf and some demo clubs to try before I even get to that altohugh the money saved on sky would pay a chunk towards a new I15 driver

Re: Massipaidve thanks to Bob!

swapped my TM Burner 2007 version, for a Mizuno mx 700 driver
paid 110 quid, they, AG allowed me 40 notes on my TM,which
turned out okay for me

hey I didn't see that post..in the words of lionel richtea of walkers crisps fame..share.

I contacted SKY to cancel my subscription as it had reached over £50 a month.
To keep me as a customer they have now offered me half price SKY for the next 6 months so £25.50 per month instead of £51, a saving of £153 in 6 months.
Give them a bell :)

this works with anything you pay a subscription for... once your mobile contract runs out, call them and threaten to leave and you'll get a much better deal... same with virgin tv too.
