Mario Ballotelli

I take a different view and think Parker tried to head Ballotelli's studs. He also sneakily tied to head his knee just before.

As a neutral I love watching him as you're never quite sure what you'll get next. I've read loads of stories and although most are probably urban myths, he seems to be a generous guy off the pitch (turning up at pubs and buying drinks all night, petrol for everyone, paying for a pensioners food at Sainbury's etc). However in the same way Rooney got lambasted rightly for his antics and Beckham was public enemy #1 for that kick at Simeone, what he did was bang out of order and he deserves to serve a 4 match ban.

I guess the question will be whether Mancini can see enough in him to put up with the issues on and off the pitch or whether he can find someone who is prepared to come to City but won't be getting a game week in and week out but won't rock the boat and then get shot of Balotelli. I think the fact that Tevez is damaged property and can't find a new club anywhere in the world is making it harder to just dump him as no-one will want to go in for Balotelli on the bac of the latest incident

scott parker should of got up and hit him into next week ,that would of made he think about it next time, like him as a player ,but that was down right trying to hurt a man while down, if that was done on a rugby pitch he would of got batterd and his team mates would prob have gone yer get stuck in cos he deserves it

Agree with what you say. Wouldn't back Parker in a scrap with him though, he is built like a brick shithouse

not really big football fan ,but watched match of day few weeks ago and mark lawerancen said wouldnt have in my team nothing but trouble in dressing room, and he said if i play against him i would get him sent off everytime ,just wind him up and watch him pop, the bloke spoke alot of sense to me

If I was parker I would have been gunning for balotelli, maybe it sounds a bit over the top but I think he did well to not get the red mist and just try and hack him, cos I probably would have. There is no way he didn't know what he was doing, kicking out like that is not a natural movement whether your off balance or not. The thing is, yes at times he is a matchwinner but his arrogance is just embaressing, am I right in thinking when jack wilshere won some young player of the year award he said he didn't even know who he is.... or that he was on a par with messi? He's good but not that good, and he needs someone to give him a wake up call...

agree very much and that wake up call should be a fore arm smash right across the bridge of the nose, lee what ever his name from arsenal on sunday night, trying to defend him saying, his other foot was off ground so his instinct is to stamp down with other foot, yer right, he must be after a job at man city

I think he was off balance for the first connection with Parker, but the last contact was defo a stamp (just look at the speed of the kick-out, which normally signals the intent).

Lescotts was worse though.

Upshot, I would still rather have Balotellis's in English football than not.

Scott Parker - One of my favourite non-LFC players. Proper footballer, gets stuck in, mainly fair, puts his body on the line every week, wears black boots and wouldn't look out of place as a 1950's football film. Very good footballer also, wished we would have got him when he went to Chelsea.

The guy is a bloody loon. He is as thick as *** in the neck of a bottle. People like him should not be allowed to play professional football as they have no regard for authority, his team mates or the wellbeing of fellow professionals on the pitch. If a criminal wins the Lotto there is an outcry about them being able to be rich even though they may have been bad in the past but the stupid football fan forks out his hard earned cash to line the pockets of wife beaters, kiddy fiddlers, racists, tax dodgers, drug cheatsand violent thugs.

Just to confirm your not a fan then:)

A complete knobber, I'll buy his plane ticket!

You probably couldnt afford it :-)

this agent is a total idiot too, doesnt he realise that the only reason that Mario gets into trouble, is that Mario does stupid nasty things that require a reaction.

he needs to shut up and let his football talents do the talking

Oh and sack the Agent, I could do his job for less

Fragger

I used to think he was nothing but an eccentric, but the more I read about him the more I think he should be sectioned. Throwing darts at people is not normal behavior.

If he was a regular Joe and got filmed stamping on someone's head he'd go to jail for an awful long time.

I got Mrs Imurg to watch the clip of the "stamp" - HID has no interest in or knowledge of sport at all.

"What do you make of this?" says I

"Well, he's kicked that guy in the head hasn't he?"

QED

If Mrs Imurg can see it...........

We've all played with the guys who the "red mist" descends upon. Keep banning him for these stupid offences and he will either learn or leave. In the meantime, there is something compelling about him that makes him very watchable!
