Hi all,

Just getting ready for xmas and my wife has agreed to get me a trolley. I'm after a three wheel push trolley and the most popular seems to be the powakaddy twinline 3. I like the look of the twinline 1 which appears to be exactly the same as the twinline 3 apart from adjustable bag height.

The budget is around £100 and can stretch to £150.

Waht is the general consensus for the best 3 wheel push trolley?

Many thanks

Powakaddy for me, I bought my 3 from ebay for £40! had to replace one strap.

Fantastic piece of kit IMHO and folds down really small for the boot. Also PK do decent hedgehog wheels for winter.

I've a motocaddy s1 lite same trolley as electric version without motor can't fault it.
Can be picked up around £100 although there were some ex display ones on motocaddy website for £79.

Icart duo... Great solid 3 wheel trolley with extras and only £80 from American golf

I've a golf locker 3 wheeler, nice solid bit of kit however it doesn't really fold down as small as I would like. Looking at changing to a clic gear 3 wheeler in the new year as from the ones i've seen they are well built and fold down quickly, easily and very compactly. Though think their around £180, so be nice to HID and see if she'll expand the budget a little.

For me ClicGear is the 'best'... Friends have the Powakaddy and appears to be well made and good value...

Whilst in Costco, earlier in the week, I noticed they had a ClicGear style trolley in there at a reasonable price... If you have access to a Costco might be worth a proper look at...

Having owned the Powakaddy Twinline 3 and moved to the Motocaddy S1 electric, I would recommend the S1 Lite over the Powakaddy. The folding to bracket on the Powakaddy is a poor design and the Motocaddy holds the bag much more securely. The Powakaddy does have a superior folding mechanism.

Thanks for the responses.

I've been having a look over at american golf and like the look of the Masters iCart one and iCart 2. Seems that the iCart 2 is a quicker folding trolley but doesnt look as study compared to the iCart one. They're both the same price , has anyone used either of these?

Not too sure that i like the look of the Motocaddy trolleys to be honest, still like the look of the powakaddy twinline 1 and 3, although are they really worth the price compared to the masters golf carts?

Have you got the golf locker qwik fold? If you have I'll definitely take it off your hands if you get a new one.

Having looked at the options I've narrowed it down to the powakaddy twinline 1, the masters icart one or the masters icart 2.

The icarts are both £80 on american golf, really good price leaving plenty of the budget left for other things.

Has anyone got any experience with the masters carts?

If I was starting out the motocaddy S1 would be my personal choice, looking at American Golf they have a Sun Mountain push trolley which looks the business.

A golfing pal of mine in his 70's has just moved to a motocaddy S1 from a pull trolley and he finds it very easy to use
