Mancini been sacked by City!

What are your thoughts on Brendon Rodgers?

More than happy. It was a mistake by him (or the club) to only start the season with one striker, but has bought well since. We have only been well beaten or put bad performances in about 4 games since xmas, but going in the right direction.

He can speak a bit of tosh at times (false nine etc) and we are crap right throughout the club at defending set-pieces, but generally like the cut of his jib. I think a fourth/fifth place finish next season is progress.

Coutinho looks a steal at £8.5m
Sturbridge is as good as any one on his day, just needs to do it more often.

Borini and Joe Allen are 2 expensive mistakes. Cannot see why Inter let Coutinho go for that price? Is he injury prone or a troublemaker I wonder, dont normally get bargains out of Italian teams, if not then it looks like being a real bargain and probably the best bit of business Rodgers has done Think Sturridge has been decent since Rodgers bought him TBH.

Yes both look a steal at the moment. How Chelsea could keep picking Torres above Sturridge, maybe shows that politics is a major feature at their club.

I just hope it isn't another false dawn from them two, I've seen more of them than Constable.:)

I couldn't understand why City let him go to Chelsea at first, but he's too inconsistent. Think he probably believed his own hype a bit too much. Looks to have settled at Liverpool tho.

It's just a big merry go round with managers all swapping jobs & every one is a gamble. I wouldn't mind getting sacked with a multi million pay out.
