Man Utd can still win The Premiership

You can't force someone to love something, you have to make it attractive. The FA aren't bothered about us up here. Too late. You still don't answer why they should keep all the internationals in London. You still don't understand that we don't have a connection with England. It's like me saying to you that you should go and support England netball team, they play in London, it's cheap, you're English - you have no excuse not to go....

No I don't, and I don't think I ever will, especially when Liverpool players have represented England in outstanding fashion.
The netball thing is a silly argument, and I think you know it!
I would always want the England netball team to do well, because I am English, but please don't expect me to go and watch it.
I don't follow the sport, I don't support my local netball team, I don't know the rules of netball, I don't play netball, I've never even watched it. I am a football fan and have a passion for the sport, as do you, which is why we are discussing it, so why bring netball into it?

Because it's their club mate

As I said earlier - the club that they grew up with

If England truly wanted to be a full country team then play around the whole country and not just London.

And as I said earlier Phil;
Different strokes for different folks. As long as that is accepted, (rather than understood necessarily), we'll all get along fine.
There is no right or wrong, just differences of opinion, upon which I judge no-one. After all, it's only football.

And isn't that one of the reasons that make our sport such a great one?

Slime.

P.S. I might be an old fart, but, I'm off to play football tonight!

Beware all Manchester drivers, there must be a new speed camera on Sir Matt Busby Way, everyone visiting old trafford keeps getting 3 points!

Why, how many internationals do England sell out? Even then 52,000 at St. James's (and a full house)would be better than 60,000 at Wembley and 3/4 full of booing cockneys. Remind me where Scotland's national stadium is - Glasgow, which isn't the capital. Spain used to always play crunch matches in Seville, as the home support was more partisan. England for all of England is what I say.

What made them stop doing that? Did Sevillians all of a sudden stop being partisan? They hardly go there now, mostly only for friendlies I think.

Games are played in Glasgow only due to the biggest independent Stadium being there and also the fact that it's the home of the FA and needed paid for..........a bit like somewhere else I know of.

Notwithstanding my views on the FA (self-serving fools), the cost (ridiculous) or the location (horrendous) of the 'National' stadium nor the gesture of showing the National Team to the plebs (historic meaning), arguments about cost to get to Wembley are just silly imo!

You might have more of a case imo Foxholer if they kept the kick off times reasonable so it was a day trip, but the way the FA keep flogging the game to the highest bidder and changing the kick off time with it, it can often become an overnighter, or if you can do it in a day the train companies and airlines put a healthy premium on the prices. I'm fortunate inasmuch as I do live relatively close but it ain't a cheap day out even then.

I can look at Wembley from an outside perspective, it is one of the most boring, aggravating and irritating stadiums I've ever been to, the PA system by itself is enough to send anyone bonkers

Move over Man U , your time is up , The Gooners are coming up fast .......chelski and noisy Man C in tow as well ........................I have been told that Trafford Park Railway sidings have more points then Manchester United have in the PL :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::D:D:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Agree the stadium is soulless

It was great there two years ago when we turned it into Anfield South again a couple of times :whoo:

Graham Sourness is a member at Parkstone , loves talking about his playing days , says his highlight was beating Roma in Rome to win the Champions league ...........he scored his penalty ..........I watch the game ..........EYG

Really? Next time you see him ask him about Ali Dia, but get ready to run away immediately!

Arsenals new stadium feels soulless as well compared to Highbury

Been to both ............... old stadium is a piece of art , way ahead off its time when it was build , the new stadium is what the old stadium was in its day , give it time , Teams like Everton, Liverpool , Spurs and others will need one like it to compete with Arsenal and where Arsenal have built it and paid for it with Wenger doing a great job keeping Arsenal competitive the others will have too and it remains to be seen if they will be able to still be competitive when they do ......Not mention Chelsea or Man City as the day their owners decide to walk away they be done for ..............EYG

We certainly need to increase our match day income

Hopefully they start the increase of Anfield soon.

Many have laugh at Wenger and Arsenal , Read in a paper other day that Arsenal`s cash reserve is more then the rest of the clubs in the premire league , that's Arsenal FC cash , ... 8 years no trophy , but they have no mortgage unlike the rest and time will come when the spending power will count for a lot , that don't include the Russian millions that is not even on the board ................EYG

It's certainly needed a lot of patience and have heard a lot of Arsenal fans demanding a trophy or Wenger out.

They will need to win one pretty soon

I don't think Man U will finish top 4 or win the CL and so this huge revenue stream will disappear. Will they attract top players to a club not offering CL. Maybe, maybe not. I wonder how far into next season will they give Moyes before enough is enough

Man UTD still earn massive amount of commercial revenue off the field.

There income is massive - truly staggering with only Barce and Madrid matching

They can still pay the massive wages needed for the top player

But the top players want to play in the CL. & other teams will pay as much if not more in wages than utd.
