I played a few years ago and they were great.
No worrys about frosty greens or temps, they wee just closed from Nov-March. Awesome scenery and more often than not empty.
That was going back to about 1992/3..may of changed since then

usage rates of our courses are mixed. tourist courses during holiday season can get quite crowded but usually tee times are available. the club where i am member is a member's club but is quite popuar especially at weekends. peak times have to be booked a week in advance notably in May, June, September and October.

About 100 courses nowadays which is roughly double figure of what it was back in 92
