A quick bit of self-congratulation is in order!
Played my first qualifier of the season at the weekend and scored a nice 73 net 63 (Par 69) and the CSS even went up to 70 for me.... So looks like the lessons and practice are paying off that's me into single figures for the first time.
Oh, and I even won the medal! Go me!!! :whoo:
Good job, had hoped to do the same but the usual medal mentality/luck set in and I N/R'd so up .1 (bugger), still its a long season ahead.

Do you mind me asking why you NR'd? I've been doing a lot of thinking about how to approach medal rounds and perhaps consider them as a Stableford which just seems easier on the psyche even though the outcome is exactly the same - handicap-wise anyhow...
