Hello

Looking for a 16 degree hybrid.

Stiff or X Flex (depends on the shaft)

In good nick if possible.

Newer Srixon, Cally or Adams clubs are of high interest.

Fairways pro shop had a ping G5 16 deg hybrid last week with an x flex adila green shaft in super condition, i think it was something like £25. they have a fleabay account

I was hoping that you would be offering me a nice X2 Hot pro hybrid then to match my driver. Damn it :D

Cheers for this, though i am not a fan of the older Ping clubs at all. Do like the shaft though. The Tour Green is a very good fit for me.

not a chance, been looking for a a spare to rob the shaft out of and all of them are going for more than i paid for mine 4/5 years ago.

I had one of the ping G5 like this when i first started and was a beast when it worked, i had it as a 3 wood replacement, but at the time I wasn't good enough to use it, or the 3 wood.

Yeah

Same has happened with a lot of the newer Adams hybrids. They were going for peanuts brand new not that long ago and i bought a few. Now when i look at the "Red" hybrid the price is eye watering.

the x2 hot in 16 is rarer than rocking horse

never seen one. i got my 18deg from Inverness GC, they bought a load of hire sets from CS and KB and sold it all off separately. had not even been used £80, can't even get a well used one for less than that now.

ordered the Tour green from Scott Gourley with a Mizuno Adpt, pured £100, only way a could get one

They did do one according to the Cally website. As you say though, hard to find one

Did you not see any 18 degree Adams Pro Mini Hybrids on fleabay? They have that very shaft. Not much use now granted

had one sold it.

The shaft they had in the adams clubs had some sort or weird coating and the feel of it used to creeped me out.

i would try the ping

I have an adams a12 pro in 16* stiff, have matching 20* too. Both recently regripped with multicomps

Ping G30 17 deg with tour stiff shaft. Out on loan at the moment but if interested I could probably call it back (assuming they don't want it lol).

Not really a huge fan of Ping clubs sorry. Aware i am being a fussy so and so

No Fairways is the one with the driving range, but they are owned by the same people. Def is worth it always have a fair bit of SH stock.

playing any golf while up?

I may call to the driving range later (only brought my 5 iron and a hybrid) but I'm planning on going for a run tonight so I'll have to see how much time I have.
Should be back in the area in the next few months so I'll bring my clubs next time :thup:
