Loudmouth attire

I can get away (just) with some of my FJ myjoys but I haven't got the game to get away with some of these trousers. I've not got the patter to talk my way out of the battering I'd get in the 19th either. I'll pass. Viscount17 has a few natty pairs

Ive got nothing that loud, but do own a bright orange pair of trousers, and a purple pair with a matching purple shirt, only worn the purple ones once, cos of my girth i looked a bit like violet from charlie and the chocolate factory lol.

Quite true - three pairs from Loudmouth, a natty red and black check from Lobster, and a nice bright blue from Galvin Green. I have been considering adding to the wardrobe, must have another look at Loudmouth.

It is surprising how many will admit to owning a few natty numbers but who have never yet worn them at their club - has the guy from your place worn his yet Homer? claimed to have three pairs of JD's I think.

I would add that Loudmouth sizes are accurate - not something that can be said for Stromberg who lie like the proverbial hairy egg!

I have various pairs of trousers that some may decline to wear. My most recent purchase is a pair of Loudmouth trousers, green, yellow and white check, also got a pair of IJP's and also some bright Orange trousers too. For Christmas I have asked for a pair of Royal & Awesome trousers too. My pink and white check shorts are my favourite piece of clothing though.

So you get ostracized for wearing smart denim but its fine and dandy for looking like a clown?

(Best Dr Evil impression) hhhmmm riiiggghht!!

And in truth - if you are a member of a club should you really wear an outfit that you know will upset other members - cos they think it stupid and inappropriate for the golf course. There may be nothing in the dress rules to stop someone wearing ludicrous trousers - but there is such a thing as recognising they are over the top and outlandish - and likely to irritate and annoy other members. Silly outfits are all very good for jolly stag do's but not for the golf course - despite what certain pros might think (or more to the point what their clothes manufacturer sponsor thinks). Bit of respect for others is due I think.

Actually the fact that the company is called Loudmouth Golf Clothing says it all. I can't stand golfing loudmouths - bragging on about this and that and shouting 'look at me' in their stupid clothes. They should be banished to a very dark smelly place where they can all brag and preen themselves to each other.

If you want a natty pair of strides like these with the volume control turned down a bit then IJP Design are worth looking at with their (his?) own official tartans. Fabulous quality as with all their gear.

Galvin Green are also excellent and Sub70 do a nice range too at a decent price
