There's a large bit of advice I've been given over my short span of golfing. I have an awful slicing problem. I feel like I've read just about everything on ways to fix my swing, but it feels incredibly stagnant.

Kind of the obvious question: have you seen a pro about it? A slice can be caused by a bunch of different things (and combinations of even more different things), many of which can only be spotted by a very trained eye or with the help of video analysis etc. Instead of wading through a stream of bits of advice from different people which may or may not be suitable for your specific problem at all, spent the 20 - 50 quid and get a decent lesson. At the moment there are pre-Christmas deals available all over the place. Actually, many golf schools even offer a first evaluation lesson for free and even though that will probably not fix your slice problem at once, it will give you an idea on how to proceed.

funds allow get a series of lessons - spaced so you can have good practice inbetween
during your off season the best time to do it

majority of times things go south from the get-go because issues with one of (or all of) - grip, posture, aim, body alignments, stance, ball position etc - as stuff that's problematic at set-up then heavily influences the movement that happens next

slice happens because the clubpath is out to in relative to the target line (swing that's out to in is also steep so issues the AoA into the ball so quality of strike) - swing that's out to in & steep is also always going to be swinging leftfield through the ball relative to aim point combine that with a face that's 'open' (looking rightfield of the swing path) you going to get a 'sideways' wipe through the ball so some kind of slice - less loft on the club with those impact conditions the bigger the curvature

there's a whole bunch of things that will play into why this is happening impossible to be specific in any ways without at least seeing the grip, set-up & swing motion

would get those lessons booked - one just here & there won't be the answer - but it will mean having to change a good bunch of things that may now feel 'comfortable' - & will mean a bunch of proper practice
