HID want to be a HOD.

On this note we are looking for a starter set of clubs for her to begin learning and playing with. She has the very basics, and last year sold a set of clubs after saying I was to competitive. Now I have stopped getting wound up and have a half decent swing(I know some/many will beg to differ)

Does anyone know of any decent sets, not looking to break the bank, but don't want crap. Not looking for custom fit. She is 5'2", normal sized hands, and doesn't have arms like an ape.

Advice or sites welcomed.

Cheers in advance

Not sure if they still sell them but when my wife was looking to take up the game she bought an MD Blackhawk set (irons and hybrids) then picked up a cheap MD driver and putter. Though she never kept up with the game, the clubs were great. Worth looking for on Ebay

Buy secondhand, that way, if she doesn't really like the game you won't lose much money. I bought a 2 year old full set of Ben Sayers M7's with woods, bag and putter from Ebay for £37. The wife's only played 8 holes in 6 weeks , so I have taken a beating on her club subs but at least the clubs won't lose much.

P.s her lack of play has nothing to do with the clubs, our Pro says they're ideal for her, her problem is in her glutes.......She won't drag her lazy arse around the course.
