Trivial post to wile away the time til Darren etc tee off

Which golf company (big or small) has the best Logo
- either because you think it is well designed, or is memorable, or has stood the test of time
And which brand "could do better" to quote the old school reports

e.g. You might like the italicised "Titleist" which has been around for ages and you can see it a mile off, and the relatively newer Nike swoosh, which is recognisable from afar.

Compared to the funny Mizuno logo (which is supposed to mean what ?), the indistinct "Srixon" word,

I think Bunker Mentality is a new and refreshing brand. Nice logo, fresh approach and good kit. I have bought a few of their shirts.

I like the Cleveland logo. The CG looks pretty cool.

and if Titleist has been around for so long, how come it's still mispronounced

FJ is a good call

PING works because it's clear and consistent i guess

Seve's Slazenger tiger/puma/cat and BOSS are quite clear and well established.

Must admit i think the Cobra snake with thw crown on is quite a good bit of design

Wilson hasnt changed for decades, but it just doesnt compare to the Titleist to me - very subjective i know

The Oakly logo is very obvious. Especially with McIlroy flaunting the gear.

The Dunlop logo is also quite identifiable. Shame it doesn't reflect the quality it used to. The clothes are good for the money though.

I suppose the Nike Swoosh is the most identifiable by everyone regardless of sport or lifestyle. It's like the McDonald's M in terms of recognizablity.

The FJ footjoy logo is my favourite in golf. Simple yet easy enough to recognise.

+1 that swoosh (though I have a couple of shirts) really belongs on the streets

I really like the underarmour logo. It's simple but works on t-shirts, hats etc
