Lockers, Pro's and Con's

I've never seen one that would be a suitable size for me.
I would need to fit a Powakaddy, large bag and some other items in it. It would also need an electrical socket inside for me to leave the battery on charge.

Here is my locker at home. It is 1m by 4m. These photos were a few years ago. It is a bit more cluttered today.

Not at all. I laugh too, but at them, rather than with them. Same, but different.

I pay £6 a year for mine, been that price since I got it about 10 years ago.
We are moving to a new clubhouse later this year. I hope to be able to get one in it.

I had one for all my time at my previous club. It was dead handy in early days as for quite some time I didn’t have a car…and if I needed to get my clubs home for any reason I’d have to take them on the bus with me or sling them over my shoulder when cycling to and from the club…and that was a fun three miles up the A38/Gloucester Rd.

Current club doesn’t have any lockers…we took them out decades ago. Sometimes think it would be handy to have one - mostly to hold a change of clothes if unexpected weather overcomes me.

Not for me. How does your gear dry? That would be my worry / concern. Obviously you would not put soaking stuff in a locker but gear is frequently damp whether slightly wet or through sweat.

Yeah but if your bag gets wet you take it home to dry out. But in all honesty its rarely wet or I get caught in the rain whilst playing.

I'm totally for a locker. I put my MGI buggy and my clubs in. Spare balls and umbrella are always in the locker.

I just take the battery home every 3rd round to charge.

Lockers are RFID card to get access so if someone else went into it there would be a record and the lockers have a camera where the clubs are kept.

Its totally a no brainer for me. Safer at the club than in my garage and no damage from going in and out of the boot of my car.
