If you play Royal North Devon, they have a bunker with sleepers three times higher than the one you are playing out of. If you try and play forwards you have to watch out for rebounds.;)

There is a bunker like that at Royal West Norfolk. It's like an open cast mine with a sleeper face.

We like visiting UK for the nice buildings, pubs, ales , polite people and for links golf......maybee one should spend some longer time when retiremend...

Next time you come over try to play Royal West Norfolk (Brancaster) which is like stepping back in time, nothing has changed in the clubhouse since about 1870 :D Great golf course, I actually prefer it to Hunstanton. Another one to add to your list is Great Yarmouth which is very quirky but has some really good holes. Most of the course is inside the horse racing track.
