Linear chipping - the fright of my life!

I went to a range near work yesterday for a break and got chatting to the head Pro who, last time I was there, was teaching an ex European Tour player who was due to go to Tour School.

We got chatting about the short game and he is, apparantly, a disciple of the Linear Method of chipping. I got back to work and Utubed it to have a look and after watching it, there was a link which I clicked on and what did I get ?????????

Sorry to have scared you. Gary Smith the GM top 25 coach is a great advocate of the linear method and there are a couple of clips on you tube if you search under "Gary Smith"

It was Gary's clip that I looked at. It seems interesting but I do chip pretty well (as do most of us 11 handicappers) and I need to be convinced that it would be worth the potential pain in changing

sounds interesting Homer, looked at the youtube of Gary smith but no sound at work, any links to something I can read on it, I'll watch Gary tonight in bed...oooeeerrr missus!
