Just been having a look back at my stats for the year and it has provided some depressing reading. I've only managed 12 rounds in total at 4 different courses and none since the end of June.

I think the most depressing thing is that other than the occasional good round all of my game has been consistently poor. At least I managed to play Par 3's to handicap and Par 5's under handicap.
One round of 82 is all the hope I have to cling to through the winter months when it looks as though I need to focus my practice on driving, long irons, short irons, pitching, chipping and putting.

I'm just about to report my phone hacked! :rofl:
Those stats look remarkably simar to mine although I have played a few more rounds since June.
Without regular play and practice it is hard to get any consistency so just have to go out and enjoy whatever the score. :)
 
if you can play the par 3's to handicap, the par 5's under then you need to reel in those wild 2nd shot approaches to the par 4s. attack the short ones but lay up on the longish ones. you should see your scores tumble!

you are half way there already and you don't know it! :thup:

97.3% of me thinks that those are superb figures....well done.

Interesting that I think I've had a bad year and yet my points per hole average was actually slightly better than Hobbit who had a great year. Admittedly every other statistic is massively in his favour.
Although I do think the percentages need looking at as by my calculations your under/at/over par adds up to 126.42%. Typo?

I'd cut and pasted your template and forgot to change the holes over par... doh!
 
Some of my stats, from a pretty good year, just haven't played enough.

Ave score: 76.7 (5.7 over par)

Ave par 3: 3.5
Ave par 4: 4.4
Ave par 5: 4.9

Eagles: 0.5%
Birdies: 10.5%
Pars: 52%
Bogies: 31%
doubles/worse: 6%

Ave putts: 1.8 per hole

We have some tough par 3's, and I made my scores on par 5's & shorter par 4's.
My putting improved over the year, and my scores didn't vary too much suggesting that I am more consistent.
 
I stopped recording the stats as I was getting bogged down with the details. Trying to play with more freedom. Plan to go back to them in the new year to see how I am progressing with the winter work
