Tour Winner
Didn't get to play in yesterdays Stableford due to a monster hangover, so I turned up this morning early doors for my first roll up, balls in the hat thingy. I ended up going out with our club President (very nice bloke) and was the highest handicapper in our group too. So, first tee nerves, resulting in a HUGE slice drive on our opening par 5, followed by a shank into deep rough. Somehow managed to regain some composure and got up and down in 6, so fairly happy.
After that, look out! Playing off 3/4 handicap (16) I put together my best ever round, albeit off the yellow tees. Driving was largely sound, irons solid an putting was probably the best it's ever been. Thoroughly delighted with a gross 83 and on the back of that performance I've been asked to play for the Rabbits team this Thursday. So very, very pleased.
